I think the most important part is that the best mechanic in the world came to join in on the fun with the big box van!!! Whooohoooo...so great to finally see Doug again!
First thing Tuesday morning, the clan was rounded up and we all headed out to ride LPS and Porcupine Rim.
There was a lot more hiking than I remembered!
However, the views were even more amazing than I remembered!
I'm pretty sure this picture can justify the 3 days Bryce took off for vacation :)
This was Doug's first time on this trail and he killed it like the rockstar he is. GO DJB!
Unfortunately I had some work to get done Tuesday afternoon, but Bryce and Tony went out for moto #2 and apparently a little exploring. Yes, that is Tony Torrance in that sea of slickrock. Not sure how he got there or got out, but he came home in one piece.
Wednesday morning began with a short run in Moab, then a easy drive to Fruita. We rode Mary's loop and Horsethief Loops (above), which were amazing then Bryce and I headed out to do some exploring on the dirt bikes. It was an absolute blast. Luckily the drive home was very painless...long, but no snow, hail, rain, etc - that's a first!
