After resting, no running, cortisone injections, lidocain injections and lots of other therapy, the extreme pain in my left knee has not subsided thus making the last resort and unfortunate must if I want to start running again. The recovery is anywhere from 4-8 weeks depending on what is found and repaired during the procedure. More details to come.

Erin,
Sorry to hear that your knee didn't respond to all of the other options that you used on it. Hopefully the recovery will be in the 4 week range than the 8 week range. Maybe you and I can start our season together in July! I am to the point right now where that's what I am going to have to do.
Looking forward to seeing you at camp.
Warmest regards,
Bruce
ugh - i'm sorry! i hope that you are going to have a quick recovery and by the time you are done, you'll be such a fast swim/biker, you won't need to run anyway!!!!
Hey,
what a bummer about your knee. I hope that the surgery goes well and your recovery is quick :) always, jax
