I am just about to get into bed but figured I'd write a short blurb since I've completely slacked on keeping everyone updated this past week.
I had a pretty hectic week before I took off for Florida catching up with work, finding a place to live when I get back and packing of course, but everything panned out quite well. After arriving in Clearwater on Thursday, I met up with Ben, my mom and the couple who hosted me at their home in Mexico at the welcome dinner down at the beach. Great food and good to see everyone.
Today was fairly chill. Went for a little run with Benny in the morning, registered for the race, got everything taken care of with my bike - thanks Doug, you're the BEST mechanic EVER!!! - ate lots of powerbars from the truck, checked in all the gear at transition, had a pasta dinner and now just relaxing and getting ready for the big day.
